Skoda Yeti To Be Assembled At Aurangabad Facility By 2010

The first Skoda Yeti SUV revealed from its assembly line from its mother plant in Kvasiny in the Czech Republic, is also to be unveiled for the Indian market. Skoda yeti will assemble its Yeti SUV model from its Aurangabad plant placed at Maharashtra with its CKD kits expected to be imported from its parent company.

Skoda Yeti is set to launch this year in September in Europe and it will also reveal at the 2010 Delhi Auto Expo. The company will equip Yeti with a 1.8L TSI petrol engine for its Czech republic (home market) with a 4WD model and the engine will be tweaked in order to cater to the needs of the domestic customers.
