BMW Z4 After the successful launch of Jaguar and Land Rover range cars in Indian market by Tata Motors, now luxury car manufacturer BMW India ready to lauch it luxurious convertible model BMW Z4 in Indian market to make its position more stronger in its segment. BMW Z4 is a two seater, two door luxurious convertible model that is packed with lot of advanced luxurious and safety features with the powerful engine. BMW India plans to launch this new model somwhere in the month of October this year. The exact prices of BMW Z4 is not yet disclosed by the company but company official said that it will be launched in the range of Rs 55 to 60 lacs. The company official said that company has plans to sell 40 to 50 units of this car annually. BMW Z4 was first launched in Europe in December 2008 and it gains much popularity there in a very short span of time because of its advanced features, sporty looks with powerful engine.

2010 Fiat 500 Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari - Auto Shows

Formula 1 fans are familiar with the concept of Ferrari-branded detritus, from pens and pencils to sportswear and laptop computers, but a Ferrari-badged car—well, other than a Ferrari, anyway—is something new. Nevertheless, the Frankfurt auto show will host the public debut of the Fiat 500 Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari, a Fiat with Ferrari-inspired design cues.


The looks begin with the Scuderia Red paint, while the rear valance and Ferrari-look 17-inch wheels are finished in Racing Grey and the side mirrors reside in carbon-fiber housings. Carbon fiber also forms the shells of the front seats, which are—like the rest of the cockpit—wrapped in black leather. Red cowskin accents the steering wheel, and paddles sprouting from its backside control the automated manual transmission.

Beginning with an already hot 500—Abarth is Fiat’s in-house tuning arm—the Tributo Ferrari’s turbocharged 1.4-liter inline-four squirts out about 50 extra horsepower, while a dual-mode exhaust system promises to do its best to imitate the spine-tingling wail of Maranello’s finest powerplants, most of which have boasted two or three times the Abarth’s cylinder count.

Fiat explains this exercise as two brands recognizing a shared history in motorsport, but we see it as the ultimate extension of the Ferrari merchandising machine—and a worthy competitor to the Toyota iQ–based Aston Martin Cygnet also appearing in Frankfurt. Prestige-brand economy-car comparo, anyone?

Jaguar XKR Convertible 2009

As part of the Oldtimer Grand Prix taking place at Nürburgring, Arden is putting the new Jaguar XKR 5.0L on show.

The 2010 Jaguar XKR 5.0L model only needed slight modification due to its modelling on the Arden AJ20 Coupe design introduced at the International Automobile Fair (IAA.)in 2005. This, alongside the various well known 9×21” sportline alloy wheels, the new 5.0L possesses a redesigned chassis, which was developed in collaboration with Bilstein and improves the driving dynamics and agility of the wild cat. The special high performance stainless steel exhaust system with sport catalytics guarantees not only increases performance and improves handling at low speeds, but also has an out-of-this world sound. The four pipe system is rounded-off with the well known AJ20 Wild Cat Heck plus diffuser.

The front of the newest XKR is aesthetically improved through a specially hand-worked and chrome-plated stainless steel grill. These, along with the Arden badge with patented security fixing let the sportsman shine with a new glory.

For those who aren’t satisfied by 510bhp and a 250km/h top speed, we offer not only a performance increase of roughly 30bhp and 50Nm but also the accompanying V-Max suspension and a speedometer increased to 320km/h.

Anyone who wants to see the newest Jaguar from Arden close-up can do so from the 7th to the 9th of August in the Motosportcenter at Nürburgring.
